| Breaking News | | Saturday, August 22nd, 2015: Larsen Strokes 5 Hits During a player's career, there are days that stand out and this day was definitely special! Andy Larsen went 5 for 5 against the Birmingham Barons at Hank Aaron Stadium and the Bay Bears picked up a 8-7 victory.
He exclaimed, "What a day! We win and I get 5 hits! Couldn't be better!" The delighted catcher was really enjoying the happiness of the moment in the press room.
"He was patient up there today," the Mobile skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly agressive. Larsen has a tendency to go after some bad balls sometimes."
A. Larsen hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off J. Rivera in the 10th.

"We just didn't swing the bats very well... or he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said the Birmingham manager after the defeat.
