| Breaking News |  | Friday, August 28th, 2015: Powell Whips Peoria Quad Cities's Robert Powell breezed through the Chiefs lineup today, collecting a 6-hit shutout and a 7-0 victory along the way. Powell fanned 4 as well.
"I didn't really feel like I had my game today," Powell confessed, "but some days are like that -- you just gotta go with what you have."
So far this season, Powell has logged a 18-6 record with a 2.82 ERA. His 25-game hitting spree is now history. He was unable to make anything happen in 3 at-bats in today's game against the Kane County Cougars, but the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game 7-1.
