Friday, August 28th, 2015: Powell Whips Peoria
Quad Cities's Robert Powell breezed through the Chiefs lineup today, collecting a 6-hit shutout and a 7-0 victory along the way. Powell fanned 4 as well.

"I didn't really feel like I had my game today," Powell confessed, "but some days are like that -- you just gotta go with what you have."

So far this season, Powell has logged a 18-6 record with a 2.82 ERA. He has started 30 games, hurled 195 innings and registered 163 strikeouts and 46 walks.
Saturday, August 15th, 2015: Márquez Pitches Chiefs to Shutout Victory
The Chiefs bested the Bees 6-0 behind the 4-hit pitching of José Márquez. The Peoria hurler had 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in going the distance.

In 29 starts this season Márquez has fashioned a 15-5 record and a 3.59 ERA.
Tuesday, August 11th, 2015: Cougars Stop Tate at 25
Chiefs right fielder Brandon Tate finally met his Waterloo. His 25-game hitting spree is now history. He was unable to make anything happen in 3 at-bats in today's game against the Kane County Cougars, but the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game 7-1.

In 106 games this season Tate is batting .323 with 139 hits and 19 home runs. He has scored 63 runs and driven in 88.
