Well, Kevin Campbell of Spokane was very special this year.
He was announced today as the 2015 Northwest League NWL Pitcher of the Year winner.
The talented Indians relief expert dominated with no saves in 0 tries. Campbell finished the season with 10 wins and 1 loss, a 2.07 ERA and 162 strikeouts in 117.2 innings, allowing 75 hits, 16 walks and a .180 OBA. |  | Tuesday, September 15th, 2015: Eugene Crowned Champions You could hear the cheering all over Eugene as the Emeralds secured the final out of a 8-2 win over the Spokane Indians to capture the 2015 Northwest League Round 1 3-1. It was the 3rd time in the team's history to win it.
"The Indians are a good ballclub," said the winning skipper, "We had to play at our best to beat them."
"Anytime you make big plays, it changes the momentum of the game," the losing manager said. "The Emeralds made 'em and we didn't -- end of story."
