Tuesday, September 29th, 2015: 2015 NWL #1 Hitter is Spokane's Hayes
Marc Hayes of the Spokane Indians had a fine season this year and today he accepted the NWL MVP for 2015.

The 24-year-old first baseman put up a .363 average and a .486 on-base percentage, piling up 101 hits, 10 doubles, 2 triples, 11 home runs, 53 RBIs and 69 runs scored.
Monday, September 28th, 2015: NWL Pitcher of the Year Goes to Spokane Reliever
Generally, the NWL Pitcher of the Year goes to a starting pitcher. For someone in the bullpen to receive this honor, he has to be something special.

Well, Kevin Campbell of Spokane was very special this year.

He was announced today as the 2015 Northwest League NWL Pitcher of the Year winner.

The talented Indians relief expert dominated with no saves in 0 tries. Campbell finished the season with 10 wins and 1 loss, a 2.07 ERA and 162 strikeouts in 117.2 innings, allowing 75 hits, 16 walks and a .180 OBA.
Tuesday, September 15th, 2015: Eugene Crowned Champions
You could hear the cheering all over Eugene as the Emeralds secured the final out of a 8-2 win over the Spokane Indians to capture the 2015 Northwest League Round 1 3-1. It was the 3rd time in the team's history to win it.

"The Indians are a good ballclub," said the winning skipper, "We had to play at our best to beat them."

"Anytime you make big plays, it changes the momentum of the game," the losing manager said. "The Emeralds made 'em and we didn't -- end of story."

During the season the new champs compiled a 41-35 record in the West Division and finished in first place in the standings.
