| Breaking News |  | Friday, September 11th, 2015: Bristol White Sox Sweep Round 1
The White Sox rolled over Danville 8-2 at Devault Memorial Stadium to easily win the 2015 Round 1 crown.
Bristol won in a walk and swept the series from the Braves 3-0. It was their 5th championship title.
The winning manager praised his own club as well as the opposition, "It wasn't as easy as it looked. We had to play good baseball to beat them. The Braves are a fine team, but we always seemed to come up with the key hit at the right time and to make the the plays on defense when we had to. That's how you win the Round 1."
The White Sox took first place in the West and rounded out the year with a 54-5 record.

 | Wednesday, September 9th, 2015: Rodd Pitches White Sox to Shutout Victory
Eric Rodd was in charge the whole game in the White Sox victory over the Braves today. In a superb performance he blanked Danville 8-0, yielding 6 hits while registering 11 strikeouts and 2 walks.
Checking out his stats for the season, Rodd has registered 11 wins and 2 losses in 15 starts, 1.89 ERA and struck out 132 batters in 119 innings.
