| Breaking News |  | Monday, August 31st, 2015: Winston at His Best, Whips Mariners
AZL (CHN) pitcher Marvin Winston gave the AZL (SEA) Mariners fits today as he blanked them 14-0 on 2 hits. He registered 5 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout.
His manager said, "When he's locating his pitches, he becomes unpredictable. He had AZL (SEA) guessing the entire game."
So far this season, Winston has compiled a 4-3 won-lost mark with no saves and a 3.22 ERA. In 86.2 innings he has fanned 66 and opponents are hitting him at a .302 clip.

 | Monday, August 24th, 2015: Cubs Mike McMillan Wins AZL Award
This week's Player of the Week was Mike McMillan of the AZL (CHN) Cubs.
His big bat waylaid Arizona League pitching for 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs and 8 RBIs while hitting .440 and scoring 5 runs.
For 2015 McMillan is batting .358 with 4 home runs, 27 RBIs and 25 runs scored.

A masterful pitching performance carried the AZL (TEX) Rangers to a 13-0 victory over AZL (CHN). Mark Banks held them scoreless in a complete-game effort. He permitted 4 hits, had 10 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk.
The skipper of the Cubs said, "Banks was sharp. We never did figure him out."
