There was nobody hotter in the Gulf Coast League this season as Pat Carr attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance and came away with the GCL MVP for 2015.

Thursday, September 3rd, 2015: GCL (ATL) Braves Are Champs
It was a storybook year for the GCL (ATL) Braves as they closed out a 4-2 series win over the GCL (PIT) Pirates to claim the 2015 Round 2. They wrapped it up with a 5-0 victory to cap an incredible season and brought home their 3rd championship.

The Braves manager gave his view of the series, "We had a lot of things going for us, offense and defense doing it at the right time. That's what it takes to win a Round 2."

"We're disappointed we lost, but we're also very proud of what we did all year," said the Pirates manager. "They played better baseball than us and they beat us."

During the North regular season GCL (ATL) put up a 47-4 record and finished first.
Monday, August 17th, 2015: Braves Hernández Blanks Red Sox
"That was one of my best outings," said Manuel Hernández. "I was worried a lot in the bullpen. My ball wasn't quite right. Luckily, it can be two different worlds -- the bullpen and the game. Once I stepped on the field, it all fell into place."

It was an impressive start for the Braves hurler. He blanked the Red Sox 7-0 on a strong 4-hitter while ringing up 6 strikeouts and doling out 2 walks.

This year Hernández has gone 8-0 with an ERA of 1.35 and has 92 strikeouts in 86.2 innings.
