The Braves manager gave his view of the series, "We had a lot of things going for us, offense and defense doing it at the right time. That's what it takes to win a Round 2."
"We're disappointed we lost, but we're also very proud of what we did all year," said the Pirates manager. "They played better baseball than us and they beat us."

This year Hernández has gone 8-0 with an ERA of 1.35 and has 92 strikeouts in 86.2 innings. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 47-4, .922 PCT | | Position in Division | 1st, - GB | | Record at home | 25-2, .926 PCT | | Record on the road | 22-2, .917 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 4-1, .800 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 3-3, .500 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 14-1, .933 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 33-3, .917 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 9-1, .900 PCT | | Record in June | 8-0, 1.000 PCT | | Record in July | 22-3, .880 PCT | | Record in August | 17-1, .944 PCT |
