Friday, May 23rd, 2014: Braves Rasmus Hurt
Atlanta fans will be disappointed to learn that Colby Rasmus developed a inguinal hernia while running the bases in today's game. After the doctor informed the Atlanta Braves manager that Rasmus was expected to miss 2-3 months, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the center fielder could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.

For the year Rasmus is batting .329 with 53 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 23 times and driven in 31.
