Monday, September 28th, 2015: Week's #1 Player: Kansas City's Moody
At the age of 27, Leon Moody might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Kansas City first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days collecting the American League Player of the Week Award.

He racked up 11 hits in 29 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 7 games.

Currently Moody has 42 home runs and a .332 batting average.
Saturday, September 26th, 2015: Moody Signs for 4 years
Media analysts hailed Kansas City's signing of Leon Moody, one of Major League Baseball's brightest stars, as a pivotal move.

While the deal is certain to raise a few eyebrows, Moody is expected to earn every bit of the $86,520,000 promised him over 4 years.

This year Moody is hitting .331 with 41 home runs and 133 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .385 clip and scored 101 runs.
Monday, September 7th, 2015: AL Presents Player of the Week Trophy
So far in his young career, Eugene Chandler has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the American League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.

The 24-year-old Kansas City Royals left fielder hit at a torrid .556 clip as he collected 15 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored.

This year Chandler has socked 169 hits in 528 at-bats for a .320 average with 26 home runs. He is getting on base at a .371 pace and his totals also include 83 RBIs and 108 runs scored.
