Tuesday, October 13th, 2015: Scott Olsen Suffers Injury
Minnesota starting pitcher Scott Olsen has a torn bicep muscle, suffered while throwing a pitch. He's expected to be out for 2 months.

Thursday, October 1st, 2015: AL Selects Rookie Star of the Month
Tony Domínguez earned September's Rookie of the Month honors in the American League for last month's performance. The boyish Minnesota first baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level.

Domínguez hit .362 with 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and 20 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award.

On the season, Domínguez is batting .313 with 15 home runs and 94 RBIs. He has played in 150 games.
Sunday, September 13th, 2015: Season Over for Long in Minnesota
The news is bad in Minnesota. The Twins have lost the services of starting pitcher Rob Long for the rest of the season due to back spasms. Long was injured in a recent game with the Tampa Bay Rays while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 8 months.

This season to date, Long has fashioned a 16-7 mark and 5.03 ERA in 164.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .278 against him and he has logged 144 strikeouts.
