| Breaking News |  | Sunday, September 27th, 2015: Rich Hurls Mets to Shutout Win New York (N)'s Dan Rich breezed through the Diamondbacks lineup today, collecting a 1-hit shutout and a 2-0 victory along the way. Rich fanned 5 as well.
"I didn't really feel like I had my game today," Rich confessed, "but some days are like that -- you just gotta go with what you have."
In the 2015 season Rich has 15 wins and 10 losses and a 3.46 ERA. |  | Friday, September 25th, 2015: Wright Collects Hit Number 2000 It was a banner day for David Wright, who collected his 2000th hit in the New York (N) 9-6 win over Arizona. Wright went 1-5 in the game as both Mets and Diamondbacks fans cheered Wright, when he reached base after his hit.
"It feels great to get #2000," Wright said afterward, "especially since we won the game."
In his career Wright is hitting .296 with 2000 hits, 300 home runs, 1196 runs scored and 1203 RBIs. |  | Sunday, September 20th, 2015: Season Ends for Zach Duke of New York (N) The season is apparently over for Zach Duke. The New York (N) Mets medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 7 months with a fractured elbow. Duke was hurt in the game against Washington while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.
Duke has gone 10-10 this season with an ERA of 6.22 and 80 strikeouts in 147.2 innings pitched.
