So far this season Bay has 21 wins and 7 losses and a 3.32 ERA. |  | Sunday, October 4th, 2015: Year Ends for Dave Hood in San Diego Dave Hood of the Padres just might have to call it quits for the season. The 24-year-old San Diego starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Los Angeles (N) Dodgers recently at Petco Park. Hood suffered a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch. The Padres medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7-8 months.
In 2015 Hood has compiled a 8-19 mark with a 4.66 ERA in 37 starts. In pitching 210.2 innings he has 185 strikeouts and 72 walks while limiting the opposition to a .283 batting average. |  | Saturday, September 26th, 2015: Hochevar Whitewashes Cubs Today at Petco Park Luke Hochevar of the San Diego Padres permitted 5 hits, walked 1 and fanned 12 during the 2-0 shutout win over the Chicago (N) Cubs.
