| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, June 24th, 2014: Rangers Todd Down and Out for Year
The season is ending on a bad note for Will Todd, starting pitcher for the Texas Rangers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Todd was hurt against the San Francisco Giants while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn bicep muscle and will be out for at least 13 months.
In 15 starts this season Todd has notched a 6-6 record and a 5.20 ERA. |

Bear Bay kept the Diamondbacks from doing any damage to the Rangers today at Ameriquest Field. Arizona's 2 hits and 1 walk came to naught as Texas took the contest 8-0. Bay added 8 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.
Up to now Bay has compiled an ERA of 4.26 with a 8-4 mark over 15 starts. He has 110 strikeouts in 105.2 innings and has held opponents to a .286 batting average. |
 | Friday, June 20th, 2014: Valdéz Whitewashes Arizona
Fernando Valdéz of the Texas Rangers was right on target when he blanked the Arizona Diamondbacks 11-0, yielded 4 hits and totaled 3 walks and 14 strikeouts.
Speaking to BNN reporters after the game, Valdéz said, "I had everything working today and I got some help from my defense, too. They saved my butt a few times."
His record this season is 8-4 in 14 starts and Valdéz has a 3.83 ERA.
