| Breaking News |  | Monday, August 17th, 2015: Pie Wins PCL Player of the Week
At the age of 30, Felix Pie might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Iowa left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days collecting the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs and 4 RBIs last week in 6 games.
In 2015 Pie is hitting .287, batted in 61 runs with 10 home runs and 83 runs scored.

 | Monday, August 10th, 2015: O'Day Picked Best Player
It was announced today that Iowa third baseman James O'Day snagged the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award for his outstanding play last week.
He posted a .520 batting average as he collected 13 hits, 1 home run and 7 RBIs.
In the 2015 season O'Day is hitting .308 with 7 home runs.

 | Sunday, August 2nd, 2015: No Hits for Lockhart, Streak Ends at 23
Cubs first baseman Holden Lockhart was one of the hottest hitters in baseball, coming into today's game against Sacramento with a 23-game hitting streak. However, the River Cats put a chill in his bat, at least for today, and held him hitless in 4 at-bats during the Sacramento 3-1 triumph at Principal Park.
Lockhart is hitting .377 so far this season with 96 RBIs and 79 runs scored. He has 158 hits including 21 home runs, 35 walks and .447 OBP.
